Close the year with calm and clarity.
Nestled in the natural beauty of Squamish, BC, this day retreat invites you to pause, breathe, and reconnect before the holiday rush.
On December 14th, treat yourself to a day of renewal in a serene geodesic dome warmed by a cozy wood-burning fireplace. Start with a grounding movement practice, followed by a nourishing lunch crafted by Graze Wilder.
Embrace the timeless wellness tradition of a Finnish sauna and cold plunge, allowing the warm and cool contrast to soothe body and mind.
We’ll close the day with gentle, restorative stretching and mobility work, easing any remaining tension. Step away from the year's demands and give yourself the gift of self-care, setting a calm, centred foundation for the busy season ahead.
Details
Arrival: 9:45-10am
Arrive at KIND Yoga, located on the property of Cheekeye Range, no later than 10am. You can drive past the gate to park close to the dome, keeping any belongings you may need throughout the day in your car for easy and secure access. Carpooling is encouraged.
Movement Practice: 10am-12pm
Enjoy an indulgent, expertly paced class where mobility and strength work build heat in the body, allowing you to integrate new levels of activation and awareness into familiar yoga postures. We’ll close the practice with a grounding meditation and breathwork to ensure you walk away feeling like your body + mind got everything they needed and more.
Lunch + Hot/Cold Therapy: 12:30-3pm
After working up an appetite, we’ll feast on a nourishing Graze Wilder lunch (dietary restrictions accommodated as needed). Following lunch, wander over to The Finnish Sauna for hot-cold therapy, cycling between the sauna, river, and relaxation tent. If for any reason you cannot participate in hot-cold therapy, Cecily will be available in the dome for 1-1 consultations and questions about your practice.
Closing Practice: 3:00-4:00pm
Cozy up in your sweats and return to the dome for a restorative class blending gentle stretching and myofascial release next to the wood-burning fireplace. Soak up the feeling of true calm before returning to real life.

Hot-cold therapy may be contraindicated for certain conditions, such as pregnancy. If you can’t participate in this part of the program, Cecily will be available in the dome for one-on-one movement consultations. -
